Boston, MA – August 25, 2023 – Electrified Thermal Solutions (“ETS”), the technology company pioneering thermal energy storage through electrified firebricks, has been chosen to exhibit at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 as part of Startup Battlefield 200, the world’s preeminent startup competition. ETS is one 200 startups selected from a review of thousands of applicants to pitch in front of investors and TechCrunch editors. This year’s Startup Battlefield participants span artificial intelligence (AI), software as a service (SaaS), fintech, security, sustainability, space exploration and more.
“To address climate change, we must replace every fossil fuel heat source with an electrical source; one hot enough to meet our most pressing needs and with a cost so affordable it’s easy to say ‘yes’ on economics alone,” said Joey Kabel, CTO and Co-founder of Electrified Thermal. “We’re working quickly to bring our Joule Hive Thermal Battery to market to replace every boiler, kiln and furnace out there. Showcasing at TechCrunch Disrupt will help us raise awareness of this important technology, meet new partners, and find great people willing to join our cause.”

TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 will be held from Tuesday, September 19 – Thursday, September 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The event is known for debuting the hottest startups, introducing game-changing technologies and discussing what’s top-of-mind for the tech industry’s key innovators—and this year will be no different. Past companies launched at Disrupt include Dropbox, Mint, Cloudflare, Fitbit, Yammer and climatetech companies such as Intropic Materials, Nth Cycle, ClearFlame, Carbon Upcycling, and Advanced Ionics.
