Energy used for heating and cooling comprises approximately 50% of total global final energy demand and 30-40% of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions. In the industry sector, three-quarters of the energy used is for process heat. There is a great window of opportunity for both utilities and industries to make an efficient use of thermal energy and waste heat and manage the energy through Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems.
At this Darcy Live Event, Phillip Stephenson, VP Business Development at Electrified Thermal Solutions, showcased our TES technology, market focus and upcoming projects.
The event included the opportunity to hear about ETS technology from two operators who are interested in our technology: Curt Jawdy, PE, Senior Manager of Operational Research and Support at Tennessee Valley Authority and Michael Huckman, PhD, PE, Engineer – Process Technoly at SABIC.
This was an invite-only event.
